Project Features
- Gear VR
- 3D Modelled landmarks
- Arduino controlled fans
In 2017 we developed a thrilling phone-based Gear VR experience in collaboration with Captive and MGM Communications, which gives visitors to the SaskTel trailer at various events the chance to fly all over Saskatchewan, dive-bombing towards various well-known landmarks.
In 2018 we added a Mixed Reality component using computer-automated fans: when the person looks down and sees themselves descending towards Saskatoon, they feel the rush of air coming up from below. When they are flying straight ahead – through the new Mosaic Stadium, for instance – they feel the wind in their face from in front. And when they are flying back up into the clouds you guessed it, they feel the wind coming from above.
